Jelmer Kuipers

Jelmer Kuipers works as Legal Counsel at ICTRecht. In this role, he deals with a variety of matters at the intersection of law and ICT, with a particular focus on e-commerce and privacy. Jelmer is a down-to-earth Frisian who prefers to provide advice in a clear, accessible and easy-to-understand way.

Jelmer completed a Bachelor’s degree in IT Law, a Master’s degree in IT Law and a Master’s degree in Employment Law at the University of Groningen. In addition, he completed an internship with the Legal Department of Albert Heijn during his studies and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E).

Outside of work, Jelmer enjoys reading thrillers, keeping up to date with developments in space exploration, visiting his grandmother, and spending his free time relaxing on the sofa watching Netflix.
