Laurens Rüpp

Laurens Rüpp is a Compliance Consultant at ICTRecht. Laurens supports organisations with the implementation of ISO 27001 and advises at the intersection of people and IT. He has experience in the field of security awareness and has a strong interest in human behaviour and how it can be influenced.

Laurens has extensive work experience, although until recently relatively little in IT. In the past, he completed a programme in Application Development, but never pursued this path professionally. After a long career as a Restaurant Manager and a period as a Management Assistant, his interest in IT was reignited. This quickly led to his decision to enrol in a higher professional education programme in Cyber Security.

Laurens is known for his empathy, enthusiasm and clear focus on results. He draws energy from his tireless determination to support clients with complex challenges. His broad work experience has enabled him to adapt quickly in dynamic and changing situations.

Laurens holds the PECB ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certificate and is therefore highly suited to support organisations seeking assistance with implementing an information security management system (ISMS).

In his spare time, Laurens spends much of his time with his son and partner. When time allows, he can also be found on the padel court.
