    The founding of ICTRecht

    ICTRecht was founded in 2004 by Steven Ras and started by providing legal advice to hosting providers and online retailers, including drafting IT contracts and resolving domain name disputes. Our capabilities expanded further when Arnoud Engelfriet, former patent attorney and IP Counsel at Philips, joined our team in 2008. This enabled us to develop into a full-service consultancy for IT, internet, and privacy.

    In recent years, we have experienced significant growth thanks to our focused approach, expansion of our team, and satisfied clients. This has resulted in the opening of multiple offices, including Amsterdam, Groningen, Maastricht, Enschede and Eindhoven.
