Annette de Bont
Legal Counsel
Annette works as Legal Counsel at ICTRecht. In this role, she advises on the legal aspects of ICT and privacy.
Annette first completed a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences at University College Utrecht, where she specialised in neuroscience and physiology. She then obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law at Utrecht University. Driven by her technical background and her interest in both technology and law, she chose to pursue the master’s programme in Information Law at the University of Amsterdam, which she successfully completed at the end of 2024. During her studies, she gained experience at, among others, the Utrecht Legal Advice Centre as a legal adviser and board member, the Glushko & Samuelson Information Law and Policy Lab, and the law firm Bird & Bird within the Intellectual Property practice.
Annette is curious and, partly thanks to her broad academic background, has the ability to approach legal issues from multiple perspectives. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring culture, going for walks, or searching for unique vintage finds.
