Marco Caspers

Marco works at ICTRecht as a Legal Counsel and Section Coordinator for IP. He focuses on matters at the intersection of law, IT, AI and compliance. Thanks to his legal, technical and commercial experience in the field of AI and technology, Marco is able to translate legal issues into practical advice.

Previously, Marco worked in various roles as a lawyer, CTO and researcher in (legal) tech, academia and the non-profit sector. As a lawyer, he has consistently specialised in areas of law related to technology, in particular intellectual property rights and privacy and compliance. Outside his legal roles, Marco has worked on a range of technology solutions in the fields of legal AI and contract automation.

Marco’s work is characterised by a pragmatic approach and creativity in translating complex (legal) problems into workable solutions and advice.
