Mark Zijlstra

Mark Zijlstra is Head of Legal Technology. In this role, Mark advises at the intersection of substance, technology and operations. His work focuses on optimising legal departments to increase efficiency and turnaround times and to reduce costs. In addition, Mark provides substantive advice in the areas of corporate law, contract law and employment law.

Mark studied Business Administration and Law and has been active as an in-house lawyer since 2006. In this capacity, he has advised many (large) organisations, including on reorganisations, M&A transactions and the establishment of legal departments. In recent years, Mark has fulfilled several roles as interim General Counsel. At ICTRecht, he uses this experience to help legal departments operate more effectively and efficiently by advising on the use of technology.
