Martijn Michael

Martijn Michael works as a Legal Counsel at ICTRecht and has a strong affinity with technology. In his work, he focuses on drafting and negotiating ICT-related contracts and on providing advice and training. He enjoys acting as the link between technical and legal disciplines.

Martijn has a broad specialisation and readily applies his experience to legal issues in areas including intellectual property law, open source licences, scraping, privacy, artificial intelligence, (social) media law, e-commerce and contract negotiation.

In addition, Martijn has extensive experience in drafting documents and providing advice in the context of sanctions legislation and export controls, including dual-use regulation, and in particular how these regimes relate to technological developments.
