Rogier van Rijn

Rogier van Rijn works as a Legal Counsel at ICTRecht in Emma van den Dorpel’s team. In this role, he advises on a wide range of matters relating to privacy, IT and contracts.

After studying Law at Leiden University, with a particular focus on international entrepreneurship, he went on to complete the Master’s programme in Intellectual Property Law, Innovation and Technology at Utrecht University. This combination is particularly valuable when advising businesses in a rapidly evolving digital legal landscape.

During his studies, Rogier gained experience in privacy and IT law through various internships in private practice. In addition, he worked for large international organisations such as EY and Vistra Netherlands.

Energetic, independent-minded and decisive, Rogier approaches every challenge with enthusiasm. In his spare time, he is most often found in the kitchen, where he enjoys experimenting, even if things occasionally do not go entirely as planned.
