Tess Mulder

Tess focuses on legal issues arising from the interaction between technology and law. Her work primarily centres on privacy, IT contracts and intellectual property. Whether ensuring compliance or drafting and negotiating contracts, Tess makes legal risks clear and manageable in practice.

After completing her Law degree at Utrecht University, Tess obtained the master’s degree in Internet, Intellectual Property and ICT Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, supplemented with a minor in International Technology Law. During her studies, she gained practical experience at several law firms and completed an internship in Curaçao. She subsequently worked at a large international advisory firm, where she built broad experience in privacy, technology and employment law and was involved in multidisciplinary innovation projects focused on digitalisation. She then moved into the startup world as Legal Counsel, where she was responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, safeguarding privacy and setting up internal processes.

Tess is known for her strong communication skills and attention to detail, with a pragmatic approach that aligns well with clients’ day-to-day practice.
