Tess Vonk

Tess Vonk is a Senior Legal Counsel at ICTRecht. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and a Certified AI Compliance Officer (CAICO), specialising in privacy, data protection and AI.

Tess brings structure, clarity and calm to complex privacy challenges. With extensive experience across the commercial sector, government and healthcare, she translates legal frameworks into practical solutions that genuinely work in day-to-day operations. She moves quickly, connects stakeholders and builds trust, always with an eye for both legal rigour and organisational feasibility.

In addition to her advisory work, Tess is the lead lecturer for the Privacy Officer programme and a lecturer on the Data Protection Officer (DPO) training. In her training sessions, Tess explains complex topics with clarity. She also serves as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Privacy Officer for various organisations.
