Thijs Pas

Thijs Pas is an Senior Information Security Consultant at ICTRecht and enjoys translating legal obligations, standards and risks into concrete and workable solutions in practice. He supports organisations in setting up and improving information security in a sustainable manner, assists with compliance matters and ensures that policies are not only correct on paper, but also effective in day-to-day operations.

Within ICTRecht, Thijs fulfils three roles. As a consultant, he supports clients with matters relating to information security standards and relevant legislation, such as ISO 27001, the BIO, SOC 2, NIS2/Cbw and DORA. As Section Coordinator, he is responsible for the substantive direction of the security section, including sharing knowledge, identifying trends and building the team’s expertise. In addition, he acts as ICTRecht’s internal Information Security Officer and is responsible for safeguarding the security of the organisation itself.

With a background in IT management and IT consultancy, Thijs understands how strategic choices play out in practice. This background enables him to move seamlessly between policy and implementation.

Thijs approaches issues with an analytical and solution-oriented mindset. He not only identifies risks, but also sees opportunities to improve processes. His structured way of working and curiosity ensure that he continues to develop and consistently strives for efficient, future-proof solutions that contribute to sustainable compliance.
