What is a CAICO®?

The title CAICO® represents the expertise of the compliance officer. The independent Centre for Certified Legal and Tech Expertise (CCLTE) was established to develop and support professional education at the intersection of law and technology. This foundation awards the protected CAICO® title only to professionals who have completed an extensive training programme and successfully passed the corresponding examination. The role of a CAICO® is often compared to that of a privacy officer, but it covers many more aspects of business operations, as AI is present throughout the organisation. This title is held by all AI Compliance Officers at ICTRecht.
