Hediye Kamalizade

As a compliance consultant specialising in information security, Hediye supports organisations seeking to comply with standards such as ISO 27001 and NEN 7510. Whether it involves drafting policies, setting up and maintaining an ISMS, performing risk analyses or managing security controls, she ensures that solutions are sound, practical and supported across the organisation.

Her expertise lies primarily in ISO 27001 and NEN 7510, but she is also well versed in other standards frameworks. She is known for her empathetic, people-focused approach and clear communication, making complex topics accessible and translating them into workable, practical guidance.

Her academic path is anything but conventional. She started with a degree in Law at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, later switched to Veterinary Medicine at the University of Antwerp, and ultimately found her passion in the field of compliance and information security.

Outside work, she is often found in the forest or at the gym. Walking and exercising give her energy, as do animals (with the exception of spiders, but that is another story). A compliance consultant with a strong focus on people, a keen eye for risk and a soft spot for four-legged companions.
