Aukje Warmerdam

As Legal Counsel at ICTRecht, Aukje mainly focuses on resolving digital legal issues in the healthcare sector. The digital transformation our society is facing is a necessary development with many challenges, challenges that are always closely connected to the law. This combination is exactly what Aukje finds so fascinating and where she is keen to contribute. Her strong sense of justice and her creative, solution-oriented approach are key strengths in this work.

Her affinity with healthcare already guided her choice of studies. During her degree in Health Sciences, she also developed a strong interest in the legal field. She subsequently completed the master’s programmes in Health Economics, Policy and Law and in Healthcare Law, an ideal way to combine these passions.

Before starting as Legal Counsel at ICTRecht, Aukje gained experience in solving diverse and complex issues across various healthcare sectors. A continuous focus on sustainable improvement through project-based work was always central to this. Through this work, Aukje acquired insights from different perspectives within healthcare, which she now brings together in her day-to-day practice.
