Anthony Tang

Anthony is a Legal Counsel within Gülçin Ermis’s team, where he focuses on legal issues relating to AI, privacy and intellectual property law. Within the team, he contributes, among other things, to translating complex legal questions into clear and practical advice, which is essential in today’s rapidly evolving digital society.

He studied for four years at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he obtained his Master’s degree in Law and Technology. During his studies, he gained practical experience as an intern at the Municipality of The Hague (Gemeente Den Haag), where he worked on the implementation and application of AI within the public sector. His areas of specialisation are primarily AI and privacy law.

If he were to describe himself, he would say he is social, optimistic and equipped with a healthy sense of humour, which always comes in handy when reading forty pages of terms and conditions.
